PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, IF THE
APPLICATION IS MADE FOR A PARTNERSHIP, THE LICENSE SHALL
BE APPLIED FOR AND ISSUED TO AT LEAST TWO GENERAL
PARTNERS AS INDIVIDUALS, AT LEAST ONE OF WHOM IS A
REGISTERED VOTER OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND RESIDES
THEREIN AT THE TIME OF SAID APPLICATION; AND PROVIDED
FURTHER, THAT IF THERE BE ONLY ONE GENERAL PARTNER, THE
LICENSE SHALL BE ISSUED TO SUCH PARTNER AS AN INDIVIDUAL,
IF HE IS A REGISTERED VOTER OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND
RESIDENT THEREIN AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

AN ACT to add new Section 6-110.3 to Article 66-1/2 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle "6.
Drivers' Licenses," subheading "Part I. Issuance of Licenses, Expiration and
Renewal," to follow immediately after Section 6-110.2 thereof, requiring certain
medical reports which affect driving safety to be forwarded to the [[State
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the]] State Motor Vehicle
Administration and to the person who is the subject of each report and for
driver examination.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 6-110.3 be and it is hereby added to Article
66-1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title
"Vehicle Laws," subtitle "6. Drivers' Licenses," subheading "'Part I. Issuance of
Licenses, Expiration and Renewal," to follow immediately after Section 6-110.2
thereof, and to read as follows:
6-110.3
(A) THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL
HYGIENE SHALL IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MEDICAL AND
CHIRURGICAL FACULTY AND THE BOARD OF EXAMINERS OF
OPTOMETRY DEFINE DISORDERS CHARACTERIZED BY LAPSES OF
CONSCIOUSNESS OR [[OTHER MENTAL OR[[ ]] ]] PHYSICAL
DISABILITIES AFFECTING THE ABILITY OF A PERSON TO DRIVE
SAFELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE REPORTS REQUIRED BY THIS
SECTION ]] WHICH RESULT IN A CORRECTED VISUAL ACUITY
WHICH FAILS TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION
6-110.1 OF THIS ARTICLE.
(B) ALL PHYSICIANS AND OTHER PERSONS AUTHORIZED TO
DIAGNOSE , DETECT. OR TREAT DISORDERS AND DISABILITIES
DEFINED BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL
HYGIENE SHALL REPORT TO THE MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD OF
THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES AND TO THE. PERSON
WHO IS THE SUBJECT OF EACH REPORT , IN WRITING, THE FULL
