CHAPTER 65
(Senate Bill 427)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 361(f) of Article 43 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Supplement), title "Health." subtitle
"Funeral Directors and Embalmers," to change the date for the expiration of a
funeral establishment license from the first day of May in each year to the first
day in October of each year.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 361(f) of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1972 Supplement), title "Health," subtitle "Funeral Directors and
Embalmers," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

(f) A funeral establishment license is effective when issued, up to and including
the first day of [May] OCTOBER next following issuance, unless sooner suspended
or revoked.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

CHAPTER 66
(Senate Bill 431)
AN ACT to add new Section 4-204 to Article 21 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1972 Interim Supplement), title "Real Property," subtitle
"Requisites of Valid Instruments," to follow immediately after Section 4-203
thereof, [[;to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 7-108 of the same
Article, Code, and title, subtitle "Mortgages, Deeds of Trust and Vendor's
Liens,"]] clarifying the law of real property as to acceptable forms of
acknowledgment [[and as to incorporation of documents by reference]], and
validating certain instruments.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 4-204 be and it is hereby added to Article 21 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Interim Supplement), title "Real Property,
subtitle "Requisites of Valid Instruments," to follow immediately after Section
4-203 thereof, and to read as follows:
