(a) As provided for in Sections 763 to 765, the General Assembly herein creates
a scenic rivers program. The following rivers, including their tributaries, are the
initial components of the State Scenic Rivers System: DEER CREEK
(HARFORD COUNTY). Patuxent, Pocomoke, Severn, Wicomico (Charles
County) and Youghiogheny.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new Section 763(a-1)
be and it is hereby added to Article 66C of the same Code, volume and
supplement, title "Natural Resources, subtitle "Scenic Rivers," to follow
immediately after Section 763(a) thereof, and to read as follows:

763.

(A-1) THE DEPARTMENT SHALL PREPARE AND COMPLETE ON OR
BEFORE JULY 1, 1974, A STUDY AND PLAN FOR THE USE AND
DEVELOPMENT OF THE WATER AND RELATED LAND RESOURCES
OF DEER CREEK IN HARFORD COUNTY. THE STUDY AND PLAN
SHALL CONSIDER AND EVALUATE DEER CREEK AS A WATER AND
SCENIC RESOURCE, AND ITS SHORELINE AND RELATED LAND IN
TERMS OF ZONING, PARK AND RECREATIONAL AREAS, AND
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE USE. THE STUDY AND PLAN SHALL BE
CARRIED OUT IN CONSULTATION AND COOPERATION WITH
EVERY AFFECTED UNIT OF HARFORD COUNTY. UPON
COMPLETION, THE DEPARTMENT SHALL FILE THE STUDY AND
PLAN ACCOMPANIED BY ANY RECOMMENDATIONS IT DEEMS
APPROPRIATE WITH THE HARFORD COUNTY PLANNING
COMMISSION AND THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE AND COUNTY
COUNCIL OF HARFORD COUNTY.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 1(a) of Article 76A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Supplement), title "Public
Information," to include in the definition of public record the salaries of all
State, county and municipal employees.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 1(a) of Article 76A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1972 Supplement), title "Public Information," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
