Article 57.
3A.

(a)     No person shall commence an action for the recovery of any corporeal
estate in land, leasehold or freehold, or the possession thereof, or make any entry
thereon, unless such action is commenced or entry made within twenty years after
the right to commence such action or make such entry shall have first accrued to
himself or to the person or persons under whom he claims; provided, nevertheless,
that if at the time when the right of action or of entry shall have first accrued, the
person then entitled to such right of action or of entry shall have been under the
age of 21 years or insane, then such [peson] PERSON or anyone claiming under
him may commence such action or make such entry at any time within ten years
after such disability shall have terminated, notwithstanding the aforesaid twenty
years has expired.

(b)   This section does not affect the common-law [doctine] DOCTRINE of
prescription as applied to the creation of incorporeal interests in land by adverse
use.

(c)  This statute does not affect the limitation periods set out in §§ [145] 6-103,
[Article 21,] and [§ 39J, Article 53 of the Annotated] 8-207 OF ARTICLE 21
OF THIS Code [of Maryland].

Article 62B.

(c) [Whenever] IF a reasonable price cannot be agreed upon, or [whenever]
IF the owner is legally incapacitated or is absent, unknown or unable to convey
valid title, the Authority [is hereby authorized and empowered to] MAY acquire
by condemnation or by the exercise of the power of eminent domain any lands,
property, rights, rights-of-way, franchises, easements and other property, including
public lands, parks, playgrounds, reservations, or parts thereof or rights therein, of
any person, copartnership, association, railroad, public service, public utility or
other corporation, municipality or political subdivision deemed by the Authority to
be necessary for the construction or the efficient operation of any project. [Any
such] THE proceedings shall be conducted, and the compensation to be paid shall
be ascertained and paid, in the manner provided by [Article 33A of the
Annotated] TITLE 12 OF ARTICLE 21 OF THIS Code [of Maryland, title
"Eminent Domain."] The exercise of the right of condemnation [shall be] IS
limited to property entirely within the territorial jurisdiction of the Authority.

Article 64B.
46.

The Authority may acquire by condemnation any property having a legal situs
in the District, and any right, title, interest, easement or privilege therein, for or in
connection with any matter or thing which is contemplated to come under or
within the jurisdiction, power or authority of the Authority. In addition, the
Authority may acquire by condemnation all or any part of the assets and property,
real and personal, including, but not limited to, rolling stock, shops, garages and
terminals, and any other property or facilities of a private carrier used or useful in
the operation of transit service in the District. Any [such] condemnation
proceedings shall be instituted and maintained in the name of the Authority and
