HEARING, INCLUDING THE DEAF, as stated in its most recent catalogue.
The amount of scholarship aid shall be paid by the State Scholarship Board to the
training center for teachers of [the deaf] PERSONS WITH IMPAIRED
HEARING, INCLUDING THE DEAF.
(f) Funds for scholarships hereunder and for necessary administrative expenses
shall be included in the budget from year to year beginning with the fiscal year
[1972-1973] 1973-1974. Any of such funds remaining unused at the end of the
fiscal year shall revert to the general funds of the State treasury.
(g) Each recipient of a scholarship under this section, after certification as a
teacher [for the deaf] PERSONS WITH IMPAIRED HEARING,
INCLUDING THE DEAF, shall teach in a school for the deaf, A PUBLIC
SCHOOL PROGRAM, OR A STATE-APPROVED NON-PUBLIC SCHOOL
PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH IMPAIRED HEARING, INCLUDING
THE DEAF, in the State for a minimum period of one year for each year a
scholarship under this section was held by the recipient.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5.2 (L)(3) of Chapter
179 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1972, amending the
General Construction Loan of 1972 with particular reference to an
appropriation therein to supplement the appropriation "construction of an
addition to Howard Hall" redesignating a portion of that appropriation for the
purchase of capital equipment for the addition to Howard Hall [[.]] ;waiving
the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 179 of the Acts of 1972, this section
relating to the time by which projects contained in the General Construction
Loan of 1972 must be placed under contract, insofar as the provisions of this
section relate to the items contained in Section 5.2(L)(3)(i) of said General
Construction Loan, redesignated as Section 5.2(L)(3)(j) by this Act, capital
equipment for the addition to Howard Hall; and to extend for two years the
period during which these items may be placed under contract.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 5.2(L)(3) of Chapter 179 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1972 be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
