CHAPTER 336
(House Bill 1318)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 10A-l(c)
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick County (1959 Edition
and supplements thereto, being Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Frederick County," subtitle
"Part I. General Local Laws," subheading "Metropolitan Commis-
sion," and to add new Section 10A-l(d) to said Code, title, subtitle
and subheading, to follow immediately after Section 10A-l(c)
thereof, to revise the requirements relating to publication of cer-
tain reports by the Metropolitan Commission of Frederick County
and providing for how certain accounts shall be maintained.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 10A-1 (c) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Frederick County (1959 Edition, and supplements thereto, being
Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Frederick County," subtitle "Part I. General Local Laws," sub-
heading "Metropolitan Commission," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments; that new Section 10A-l(d) be
and it is hereby added to said Code, title, subtitle and subheading, to
follow immediately after Section 10A-l(c) thereof, all to read as
follows:

10A-1.

(c)    The commission shall annually have its accounts audited by
a certified public accountant to be selected by the commission and
paid by it; and shall publish [a full, true and itemized account,
under oath, of its receipts and disbursements] the audited financial
statements and auditors certificate in a newspaper published in the
county.

(d)    The accounts of the Commission shall be maintained in ac-
cordance with the general principle of municipal fund accounting
on an accrual basis..

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 337
(House Bill 1347)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 77 577 of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement
Volume), title and subtitle "Crimes and Punishments," subheading
"Trespass," to correct certain language; to include in the defi-
nition of "trespass" the unauthorized remaining upon another's
property; and to alter the penalty for trespass.
