(b) Licenses for crab pots set in this manner shall be obtained
at the office of the Charles County Clerk of the Court. The fee is
fifty cents ($.50) per pot.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

(House Bill 937)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 84 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Public Education,"
subtitle "Chapter 6. The Public Schools," and to enact new Section
84 in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section repealed,
and to repeal in its entirety Chapter 800 of the Acts of 1969, that
Chapter relating to immunizations required of children entering the
public schools, and generally relating thereto; to provide that the
State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in cooperation
with the State Board of Education and the Medical Chirurgical
Faculty of Maryland promulgate regulations regarding immuniza-
tions required of children entering public schools, and relating
generally thereto.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 84 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1969 Replacement Volume), title "Public Education," subtitle
"Chapter 6. The Public Schools," be and it is hereby repealed and
that new Section 84 be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to
stand in the place of the section repealed and that Chapter 800 of
the Acts of 1969 be and it is hereby repealed, all to read as follows:
84.
[Every child before being admitted to a school in this State shall
submit such evidence from a duly licensed physician of immunization
from smallpox and such other communicable diseases as may be
prescribed from time to time by regulation of the State Department
of Health. The list of approved vaccinations and immunizations shall
be prescribed by the Department in cooperation with the Medical
and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland.]
The State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in coopera-
tion with the State Board of Education and the Medical and Chirur-
gical Faculty of Maryland shall promulgate regulations regarding im-
munizations required of children entering schools. These regulations
shall be promulgated in conformance with the provisions of the
Administrative Procedure Act. (Article 41 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, 1957 Edition, as amended). Provided, however, that
in the absence of an emergency or epidemic of disease declared by
the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene, no child whose parent
or guardian objects in writing to vaccination or immunization upon
the ground that it conflicts with the tenets and practice of a recog-
