CHAPTER 230
(Senate Bill 664)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 11-1111
(d) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Replacement Volume), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle "Subtitle 11
Rules of the Road," subheading "Part XL Miscellaneous Rules,"
to amend the vehicle laws relating to throwing, dumping, dis-
charging or depositing refuse in certain areas.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 11-1111(d) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title "Vehicle Laws," sub-
title "Subtitle 11 Rules of the Road," subheading "Part XL Mis-
cellaneous Rules," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

11-1111.

(d) No person shall throw, dump, discharge or deposit any trash,
junk, or other refuse upon any highway or public bridge or in any
public waters.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 231
(Senate Bill 676)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 39 (a)
and 54 of Article 11 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1968
Replacement Volume), title "Banks and Trust Companies," sub-
titles "Savings Institutions," and "Trust Companies," respectively,
to increase the fees for filing articles of incorporation by savings
institutions and trust companies with the Bank Commissioner.
