of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Juvenile Causes in Mont-
gomery County," to provide in Montgomery County for the filing
of petitions by the State's Attorney.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 86 (a) of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Juvenile Causes
in Montgomery County," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
86.
(a) Whenever any person informs the court that a child is within
the purview of this subtitle, the court shall make a preliminary

within the purview of this subtitle; (2) the name, age and residence
of the child; (3) the names and residences of his parents; (4) the
name and residence of his legal guardian if there be one, or the per-
son or persons having custody or control of the child, or of the nearest
known relative if no parent or guardian can be found. If any of the
facts herein required are not known by the petitioner the petition
shall so state.

July 1, 1972.
