posed by the circuit court of any county or the Criminal Court of
Baltimore, as the case may be, the fine when collected shall be appro-
priated for the use of the Commission of Forests and Parks and ap-
plied to the administration of this law.
§ 411 M. Punishment for violation.
Every act or omission designated as a misdemeanor in this subtitle,
unless otherwise provided, shall be punishable before any [trial mag-
istrate, people's] court of competent jurisdiction [or circuit court]
of the county in which the offense is committed. [It shall be
brought by warranty or indictment upon the oath or information of
any member of the county commissioners, their duly designated
agencies, or of any employee thereof.] Upon conviction thereof, the
offender shall be subject to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars
($100.00) or to thirty (30) days imprisonment in the county jail,
or both, in the discretion of the court. If such an act or omission is
of a continuing nature, or is persisted in, in violation of the pro-
visions of this subtitle, or of any regulation enacted or decision
made under the powers granted in this subtitle, each and every day
during which such act or omission continues or is persisted in shall
be deemed a separate misdemeanor.
§ 421. Same—Penalties.
Any person who shall violate or transgress the terms or require-
ments of any order or regulation issued and prescribed by the said
State Board of Agriculture or its duly authorized officer under the
authority of this subheading, or shall refuse to said officer or his as-
sistants access to his premises, farms, stables, cars, sheds or pens, or
shall resist said officer of the State Board of Agriculture or his as-
sistants in applying any of the quarantine orders or regulations or
shall conceal the fact that contagious or infectious disease exists on
his premises, shall be subject to a fine of not more than one hundred
nor less than ten dollars, which fine may be imposed by any
[station house justice of the peace of the City of Baltimore, or any
justice] court of any county where such offense may be committed.
§ 427. Unlawful disposal of animals affected.
Any person who shall sell or otherwise dispose of an animal which
he knows, or has good reason to believe, is affected with any con-
tagious or infectious disease, or has been exposed thereto within
ninety days, or shall permit the same to pass over or upon any public
highway, street, lane or alley, or to graze any unfenced lot or piece
of ground without the consent of the said Board, shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and on conviction thereof by a court be fined not less
than fifty dollars nor more than one hundred dollars for each animal
so driven or exposed[; such fine may be imposed by any station
house justice of the peace of the City of Baltimore, or any justice of
any county where the offense shall be committed].
§ 434. Burial of animals dying with infectious disease.
All hogs and other domestic animals dying of any contagious or
infectious disease shall be buried at a depth of at least three feet
or be burned, at the discretion of the owner; and any person or
persons permitting any dead hogs or any other domestic animals,
