stitute the entire costs in the proceedings for both the Sheriff and
the magistrate, provided that poundage fees as now allowed shall be
continued; and for each defendant named in any suit in excess of two,
an additional fee of $1.50 shall be added to the costs, and further, in
executing a warrant of restitution upon a landlord's complaint, the
plaintiff landlord shall be required to pay to the Sheriff the costs of
executing the same. The entire amount of such filing fees shall be paid
over monthly to the County Commissioners by the magistrate or jus-
tice of the peace to whom said filing fees were paid.

(h) Calvert County.—In Calvert County, notwithstanding any
other provisions of this section the following flat fees shall be paid
upon the filing in the magistrate's court of any of the following ac-
tions. These fees shall be the entire costs in the proceedings for both
the Sheriff and the magistrate, except poundage fees as provided by
law. The entire amount of such fees shall be paid over monthly to the
County Commissioners by the justice of the peace to whom said filing
fees were paid.

1.   Writ of attachment on original process..................................$10.00

2.   Distraint for rent...................................................................... 5.00

3.   Declaration in replevin.............................................................. 10.00

4.   Petition for writ of restitution................................................ 8.00

5.   Order to issue writ of fi fa or attachment upon a judgment 6.50

6.   All other civil suits—[on one] one defendant.................... 6.50

Each additional defendant .................................................. 2.50

Process will be reissued once for original costs

Each additional reissue thereafter .................................... 3.50

(i) Carroll County.—In Carroll County, notwithstanding any
other provisions of this section, a fee of $3.00 shall be paid upon the
filing of any civil suit in the magistrate's court, which fee shall con-
stitute the entire costs in the proceedings for both the Sheriff and
magistrate including one transcript of any judgment entered upon
said suit, provided that poundage fees as now allowed shall be
continued; and for each defendant named in any suit in excess of two,
an additional fee of $1.00 shall be added to the costs, and further,
in executing a warrant of restitution upon a landlord's complaint, the
plaintiff landlord shall be required to pay to the Sheriff the costs of
executing the same, all of the aforesaid fees and costs to be added
to the judgment entered upon the suit. The entire amount of such
filing fees shall be paid over monthly by the magistrate or justice of
the peace to whom said filing fees were paid.

(j) Washington County.—In Washington County, notwithstand-
ing any other provision of this section a flat fee of $4.00 shall be paid
upon the filing of any civil suit in the magistrate's court which said
fee shall constitute the entire costs in the proceedings for both the
Sheriff or constable and the magistrate, provided that poundage fees
as now allowed shall be continued, and for each defendant named in
any suit in excess of two an additional fee of $1.50 shall be added to
the costs. The entire amount of such fees shall be paid over monthly
to the County Commissioners by the justice of the peace to whom said
filing fees were paid.
