such bonds may be payable by operation of any sinking fund ap-
plicable thereto.

152C. Remedies of Bondholders and Trustees.

Any holder of bonds issued under the provisions of this subtitle
or of any of the coupons appertaining thereto, and the trustee or
trustees under any trust agreement, except to the extent the rights
herein given may be restricted by any such resolution authorizing
the issuance of, or any such trust agreement securing, such bonds,
may, either at law or in equity, by suit, action, mandamus or other
proceedings, protect and enforce any and all rights under the laws of
the State or granted hereunder or under such resolution or trust
agreement, and may enforce and compel the performance of all
duties required by this subtitle or by such resolution or trust agree-
ment to be performed by the Authority or by any officer, employee
or agent thereof, including the fixing, charging and collecting of the
rates, rents, fees and charges herein authorized and required by the
provisions of such resolution or trust agreement to be fixed, estab-
lished and collected.

152E, 152D. Exemption from taxation.

The exercise of the powers granted by this subtitle will be in
all respects for the benefit of the people of the State and for the
increase of their commerce, welfare and prosperity, and will con-
stitute the performance of an essential governmental function, and
. THEREFORE neither the Authority nor its agents nor lessees
(EXCEPT LESSEES OPERATING HOTELS, MOTELS, RES-
TAURANTS, STORES, SHOPS AND OTHER COMMERCIAL
ENTERPRISES OPERATED FOR PROFIT INDEPENDENTLY
OF THE STADIUM FACILITIES AND ANCILLARY PARKING
THEMSELVES AND NOT INCLUDING TRANSPORTATION
FACILITIES) shall or may be required to pay any property taxes or
assessments upon or in respect of a facility or any property acquired
or used by the Authority or its agents or lessees under the provisions
of this subtitle. Moreover, the Authority itself (but not its lessees)
shall be exempt from income, sales or other taxes. Any bonds and
notes issued under the provisions of this subtitle, the interest thereon,
their transfer and the income therefrom including any profit made
on the sale or exchange thereof, shall at all times be free from taxa-
tion of every kind by the State and by the municipalities and all
other political subdivisions of the State.

152F. 152E. Authority not required to give bond or suffer liens.

The Authority shall not be required to give any bond as security
for costs, supersedeas, or any other security in any suit or action
brought by or against it, or in proceedings to which it may be a
party, in any court in this State, and the Authority shall have the
remedies of appeal of whatever kind to all courts without bond,
supersedeas, or security of any kind. No builder's, materialman's,
contractor's, laborer's or mechanic's liens of any kind or character
shall ever attach to or become a lien upon any property, real or per-
sonal, belonging to the Authority, and no assignment of wages shall
be binding upon or recognized by the Authority.
