Sec. 2. And be it father enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section 53(1)
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replace-
ment Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages,"
subtitle "General Provisions on Issue of Licenses," to increase the
number of alcoholic beverage licenses in Prince George's County
for certain licenses.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 53(1) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Alco-
holic Beverages," subtitle "General Provisions on Issue of Licenses,"
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments
to read as follows:

53. Prince George's County—Generally.

(1) Number of licensed issued.—The number of licenses of each
class of alcoholic beverages licenses in Prince George's County shall
not exceed the following maximum amounts:

Beer license, Class A............................................................ [25] 26
