(v) He must be at least 16 years old to drive a vehicle for which
a Class E license would be required if the vehicle were driven in
this State by a resident.

3. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the foregoing
provisions, a nonresident must be at least 18 years old to drive a
bus on any highway in this State.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 112

(Senate Bill 757)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 142 of
Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement
Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Courts," subtitle "District
Courts," amending the laws concerning the locations of the Dis-
trict Court for Baltimore County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 142 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Courts,"
subtitle "District Courts," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

142.

In order to provide that the services of the District Court are
available in all [geographic] areas of District 8, [at least one judge
shall sit regularly in each councilmanic district of Baltimore County]
there shall be a court facility physically located in each of the fol-
lowing areas:

Area 1Electric ELECTION districts 1 and 13,

Area 2Election districts 2 and 3,

Area 3Election districts 8 and 9,

Area 4Election districts 14 and 15,

Area 5Election district 12.

At least one judge shall sit regularly in each of these five locations.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby de-
clared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety and having been passed
by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.
