46C. Publication of opinions of Court of Special Appeals.
The Director of the Administrative Office of the Courts under the
direction and supervision of the Court of Special Appeals shall ar-
range for the publication of the opinions of the Court of Special
Appeals and let the necessary contracts for the same. He shall secure
the copyright of the published opinions for the State of Maryland
and as its property. The cost of advertising for proposals for the
publication of said reports shall be paid by the Comptroller upon
the presentation of properly authenticated vouchers. Contracts may
be awarded upon such terms and conditions as the Director, under
the direction and supervision of the Court of Special Appeals, shall
deem necessary. Upon establishing a contract with a publisher,
the said Director shall promptly deliver to the said publisher ac-
curate typewritten copies of all the opinions of the Court of Special
Appeals, to be paid for from funds provided in the judiciary budget.
The publisher then shall deliver to the State Library three hundred
twenty-five copies of each volume bound in a first-class manner;
and the State shall pay therefor to the publisher the contract price
per volume for each of said three hundred twenty-five volumes.]
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

(Senate Bill 658)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6-117
of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Re-
placement Volume), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle "Subtitle 6
Drivers' Licenses," subheading "Part I. Issuance of Licenses, Ex-
piration and Renewal," to provide for the destruction of driving
records in certain cases and to correct certain obsolete language
and reference therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6-117 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1970 Replacement Volume), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle
"Subtitle 6 Drivers' Licenses," subheading "Part I. Issuance of Li-
censes, Expiration and Renewal," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
6-117.
(a) The [Department] Administration shall maintain a file with
respect to every application for a license which is actually issued
and shall maintain a record of the name of every licensee whose
license has been suspended or revoked by the [Department] Ad-
ministration, and after each name note the reasons for the action.
(b) The [Department] Administration shall also file all accident
reports and abstracts of court records of conviction received by it
