THE PLUMBING CODE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL SUG-
GEST AMENDMENTS TO THE HOWARD COUNTY PLUMBING
CODE, TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS BUREAU OF
INSPECTIONS, LICENSES AND PERMITS PUBLIC WORKS BOARD
OF HOWARD COUNTY AS THE COMMITTEE MAY FIND NECES-
SARY.

THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS PUBLIC WORKS
BOARD OF HOWARD COUNTY SHALL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING
ON ANY AMENDMENTS TO SAID CODE PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL
TO THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL. THIRTY (30)
DAYS NOTICE SHALL BE GIVEN TO THE PUBLIC PRIOR TO
THE PUBLIC HEARING BY ADVERTISING THE SAME IN A
NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL CIRCULATION IN THE COUNTY.
THE PLUMBING CODE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL BE FUR-
NISHED COPIES OF AMENDMENTS FOR REVIEW AND COM-
MENTS AT THE TIME OF NOTIFICATION FOR PUBLIC HEARING.

Section 2. Be it further enacted by the County Council of Howard
County, Maryland, That this Act shall take effect sixty (60) days after
its enactment.

This Bill, having been approved by the Executive and returned to the
Council, stands enacted on July 7, 1971.

Council Bill No. 21

An Act to add Section 18.224(a), to Title 18, "Public Works", sub-
title "Public Utilities", of Howard County Code, to enlarge the Metro-
politan District of Howard County, pursuant to Section 18,201 of
the Howard County Code; in order to incorporate certain lands be-
longing to Phucas Enterprises, Inc. and Chesapeake Conference
Association of Seventh Day Adventists; the said property owners
being the petitioners.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the County Council of Howard County,
Maryland, that Section 18.224 (a) be and the same is hereby added to
Title 18 of the Howard County Code, title "Public Works," subtitle "Public
Utilities", to read as follows:

18.224 (a)—Additions to Metropolitan District

That the following described and referred to parcels of land shall be
incorporated into the Metropolitan District of Howard County as of July
1, 1971.

1.  Property owned by Phucas Enterprises, Inc. and identified as a
portion of Parcel 75 as shown on Tax Map No. 29 of Howard County con-
taining 42,891 square feet, being located at the terminus of Gerfalcon Road,
Village of Harper's Choice, Columbia. Title reference 392/556.

2.  Property owned by Chesapeake Conference Association of Seventh
Day Adventists consisting of three parcels of land located adjacent to U.S.
Route 29 and being on Tax Map No. 36 and described and referenced as
follows:
