(81)   Central Alarm Dispatcher

Graduation from a recognized high school and two (2) years clerical
or business experience preferably including experience as a dispatcher;
or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

(82)   Chief Communications Dispatcher

Graduation from a recognized high school, five (5) years of experi-
ence as a Dispatcher, including three (3) years experience as a Central
Alarm Operator; or any equivalent combination of education and expe-
rience.

(83)  Photographer

Graduation from a recognized high school, or equivalence, plus photo-
graphic experience to cover knowledge and essential skills.

(84)  Police Dispatcher

Graduation from a recognized high school or General Equivalence
Test. Experience in radio communication preferred, but not essential.

(85)   Community Services Officer

Same entrance standard as Patrolman except the entrance age may
be eighteen (18). Must satisfactorily complete a designated training
course.

(86)  Patrolman

Graduation from a recognized high school or General Equivalence
Test. Minimum age twenty-one (21) years, and possession of a valid Motor
Vehicle Operating License.

(87)  Patrolman First Class

Must have two (2) years of police experience in the County, State
or Federal Government level.

(88)   Corporal

Must have three (3) two (2) years of police experience in County,
State or Federal Government level, one (1) year of which is probationary
in the position of Patrolman.

(89)  Sergeant

Must have performed satisfactory in grade of Corporal for at least
one (1) year prior to being eligible for this position.

(90)  Lieutenant

Must have remained in the grade of Sergeant for at least two (2)
years prior to being eligible. Must have an Associates Degree in Police or
Business Administration or: must have completed the F.B.I. National
Academy or one of the numerous specialized Police Administrator courses
given by several colleges as approved by the Chief of Police; or any
equivalent combination of education and experience.

(91)  FIREFIGHTER

GRADUATION FROM A RECOGNIZED HIGH SCHOOL OR SAT-
ISFACTORY COMPLETION OF GENERAL EQUIVALENCE TEST
WITH A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT OF 18 YEARS OF AGE. PLACED
