Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2-108 (w) of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1969 Replacement Volume and 1971 Supplement), title
"Decedents' Estates," subtitle "The Court," subheading "The Probate
Court," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
2-108.
(w) Each of the judges of the court for Worcester County shall
receive the sum of eight dollars ($8) for each day's attendance
upon the sessions of the court. The judges shall also receive an
allowance for traveling expenses of [eight hundred dollars ($800)]
sixteen hundred dollars ($1600) per year.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 103 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1963 Edition,
being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Allegany County," subtitle "Cresaptown Special Taxing
Area," as added, by Chapter 169 of the Acts of 1949; to remove
the restriction on the purposes for which the tax levy authorized by
this Section may be used.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 103 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany
County (1963 Edition, being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Allegany County," subtitle "Cresaptown
Special Taxing Area," as added by Chapter 169 of the Acts of 1949,
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

The Board of County Commissioners of Allegany County is hereby
authorized, empowered, and directed to levy and cause to be col-
lected from the property owners at the time of the county tax levy
for the year 1949, and each succeeding year thereafter, within said
described area, "Cresaptown Special Taxing Area or District," as
named and created and defined by this subtitle, amounts to be fixed
by them at not more than 45 cents on each one hundred dollars
