(8) Bailiffs in Carroll, Montgomery, Talbot and Wicomico coun-
ties shall each receive such compensation as the County Commissioners
of said counties shall determine.
(9) Bailiffs in Frederick County shall each receive one hundred
and thirty dollars ($130.00) per month.
(10) Bailiffs in Queen Anne's County shall each receive seven
dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) per day.
(11) Bailiffs in Charles County shall receive an amount per day
to be determined by the County Commissioners and approved by
the Circuit Court of Charles County, not to exceed, however, twenty
dollars ($20.00).
(12) Bailiffs in St. Mary's, Somerset and Kent counties shall each
receive ten dollars ($10.00) per day.
(13) Bailiffs in Dorchester County shall receive ten dollars
($10.00) for each day they attend the Circuit Court.
(14) Bailiffs in Caroline County shall receive ten dollars ($10.00)
per day.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

(House Bill 600)
AN ACT to add a new Section 60 (j) to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Procedure for Issue of Licenses," to follow
immediately after Section 60 (i) thereof, to provide that in
Montgomery County the Board of License Commissioners shall
cause a suitable sign or notice to be posted for a period of thirty
days in a conspicuous place on the premises described in an
application for a license prior to public hearing on such application,
and generally relating thereto.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 60 (j) is hereby added to Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Procedure for Issue of Licenses,"
to read as follows:
60.
(j) Montgomery County.—In Montgomery County, the Board of
License Commissioners shall cause a suitable sign or notice to be
posted and to remain posted for a period of thirty days in a con-
