Anne Arundel County                         2565

to repeal Subtitle 3, "Zoning Regulations" of Title 13, "Planning
and Zoning", of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition
and Supplements), formerly codified as Chapter 35 of said Code
(1957 Edition and Supplements), "Zoning", as added or amended;
to repeal the comprehensive zoning maps now effective for the
Seventh Assessment District; to make the new zoning regula-
tions as enacted by Bills Nos. 2-70, 18-70, 20-70, 38-70, 39-70,
44-70, 53-70, 54-70, 86-70, 93-70, 94-70, 134-70, 7-71, 8-71, 13-71,
16-71, 17-71 and 41-71, effective in the Seventh Assessment Dis-
trict; to make the new zoning maps effective in the Seventh
Assessment District; to provide for the severability of the pro-
visions of this Ordinance if any provision thereof is held invalid;
and matters generally related thereto.

Whereas, by virtue of Bills Nos. 2-70, 18-70, 20-70, 38-70,
39-70, 44-70, 53-70, 54-70, 86-70, 93-70, 94-70, 134-70, 7-71, 8-71,
13-71, 16-71, 17-71 and 41-71, the County Council of Anne Arun-
del County, Maryland, has adopted Subtitle 3, "Zoning Regulations",
of Title 13, "Planning and Zoning", of the Anne Arundel County
Code (1967 Edition and Supplements); and

Whereas, at the time of adoption of said bills, it had been in-
tended that said Subtitle should become effective on a County-wide
basis, only after the entire Subtitle and all Comprehensive Zoning
Maps shall have been adopted and the existing zoning laws and maps
repealed; and

Whereas, certain technical problems relating to the implementa-
tion of said Subtitle have made it desirable for the new zoning regu-
lations and maps to become effective on a district-by-district basis,
as said comprehensive zoning maps are adopted in each Assessment
District.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the County Council of Anne Arundel
County, Maryland,
That the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for the
Seventh Assessment District, (BEING Nos. 36V, W and X, inclusive,
and 36 U only that part containinng OF 36 U LYING WITHIN Assess-
ment District 7; 37 V, W and X, inclusive, and 37 U only that part
containing OF 37 S, T AND U LYING WITHIN Assessment District
7; 38 T through X, inclusive, and 38 R, 38 S only that part containing,
OF 38 R AND 38 S LYING WITHIN Assessment District 7; 39 S
through W, inclusive, and 39 R only that part containing OF 39 R
LYING WITHIN Assessment District 7; 40 S through W, inclusive,
and 40 R only that part containing OF 40 R LYING WITHIN Assess-
ment District 7; 41 T, U and V, inclusive, and 41 S only that
part containing OF 41 R AND S LYING WITHIN Assessment
District 7; 42 T, U and V, inclusive, and ONLY 42 S that part
containing OF 42 S LYING WITHIN Assessment District 7; 43
T and U, inclusive, and 43 S ONLY that part containing OF 43 S
AND T LYING WITHIN Assessment District 7, ALL AS prepared
by John E. Harms, Jr. & Associates, which maps are being intro-
duced simultaneously herewith) be, and they are hereby approved
and adopted, as HEREINAFTER amended.
