the work described in Section 12-800 of this Subtitle, provided such
work is performed only on the premises occupied by the holder of
such license, and only in existing buildings from existing distribution.

(d) A Restricted Electrician's license shall be issued to any
person determined to be qualified by an examination given by the
Board, and shall permit the holder to install, maintain and repair the
particular type or types of electrical equipment specified in the
license. Holders of licenses restricted to electrical household ap-
pliances, radio, television, electronics, motor repairs and motor
services shall not be permitted to make installation or
electrical
wiring from the point of distribution to the
equipment being in-

stalled. This license may be issued to any firm or corporation only

if it employs at least one (1) holder of a Restricted Electrician's

license.

(D) (1) A RESTRICTED ELECTRICIAN'S LICENSE
SHALL BE ISSUED TO ANY PERSON DETERMINED TO BE
QUALIFIED BY AN EXAMINATION GIVEN BY THE BOARD,
AND SHALL PERMIT THE HOLDER TO MAKE INSTALLA-
TION ONLY FROM THE POINT OF DISTRIBUTION TO THE
EQUIPMENT BEING INSTALLED, AND TO MAINTAIN AND
REPAIR THE PARTICULAR TYPE OR TYPES OF ELECTRI-
CAL EQUIPMENT SPECIFIED IN THE LICENSE.

(2)    HOLDERS OF LICENSES RESTRICTED TO ELECTRI-
CAL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES, RADIO, TELEVISION, ELEC-
TRONICS, MOTOR REPAIRS AND MOTOR SERVICES SHALL
NOT BE PERMITTED TO MAKE INSTALLATION OF ELECTRI-
CAL WIRING FROM THE POINT OF DISTRIBUTION TO THE
EQUIPMENT BEING INSTALLED.

(3)    A RESTRICTED ELECTRICIAN'S LICENSE MAY BE
ISSUED TO ANY FIRM OR CORPORATION ONLY IF IT EM-
PLOYS AT LEAST ONE (1) HOLDER OF SAID LICENSE.

Section 4. And be it further enacted, That new Sections 12-810A
and 12-812 (c-1) be and they are hereby added to said Code, Title,
Subtitle, and Article, to follow immediately after Sections 12-810
and 12-812 (c), respectively, to read as follows:

Section 12-810A.

Upon payment of the required fees, the Director of the Depart-
ment of Inspections and Permits is hereby authorized to issue licenses
for electrical work to be performed within Anne Arundel County,
provided:

(1)    The applicant has passed an examination by one of the
several counties or a municipality of the State of Maryland, which
requires the same degree of competency, skill and achievement in the
electrical field that is required by Anne Arundel County.

(2)    The license issued pursuant to said examination is active.

(3)    The applicant furnishes written verification from said other
County or municipality that he has been actively engaged in business
for not less than one (1) year immediately prior to said application.
