Section 2. And be it further enacted, That this Ordinance shall
take effect forty-five (45) days from the date it becomes law, provided
that the provisions thereof shall be applied retroactively to the weekly
and bi-weekly pay periods next succeeding July 1, 1971.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
1-200 (c) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel",
Article I, "Exempt Service", increasing the base salaries in the
Executive Pay Plan.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the County Council of Anne
Arundel County, Maryland, That Section 1-200 (c) of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1,
"Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article I, "Exempt Serv-
ice", be, and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
