Section 13-322.3. Locational Requirements.

(a)    Maritime Group B Districts located within or adjacent to
any residential district shall be landscaped and planted in all side
and rear yards adjacent to said residential district. Said landscaping
and planting shall consist of shrubbery, trees and maintained lawns.

(b)    Maritime Group B facilities shall be located along the lower
one-half (˝) of the rivers to the Chesapeake Bay and along the
Chesapeake Bay.

MC—Maritime Group C Districts
Section 13-323. Uses Permitted.

The following uses shall be permitted in Maritime Group C Dis-
tricts :

(1)    Covered slips, covered storage and covered repair facilities.

(2)    Facilities for the major repair of watercraft of all types.

(3)    Fuel sales.

(4)    Ice facilities and vending machines.

(5)    Marine railways and other facilities for the launching and
removal of watercraft.

(6)    Permanent wet and dry boat storage facilities or structures.

(7)    Piers, wharves or other facilities for the berthing and
securing of watercraft.

(8)    Sales of watercraft and marine engines and accessories.

(9)    Snack bars, and sales of groceries.
Section 13-323.1. Special Exceptions.

Restaurants and alcoholic beverage uses shall be permitted as
special exceptions in Maritime Group C Districts.

Section 13-323.2. Land to Water Ratio.

A land to water ratio in Maritime Group C Districts shall be not
less than one (1) to one (1).

Section 13-323.3. Locational Requirements.

Maritime Group C facilities shall be located along the lower one-
half (˝) of the rivers to the Chesapeake Bay and along the Chesa-
peake Bay, where adjacent and surrounding property is in commer-
cial, industrial, or maritime zoning districts.

Section 2. And be it further enacted, That in accordance with
the provisions of Section 12-31 of the Anne Arundel County Code
(1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 21, "General Provisions,
Penalties and Rules of Interpretation", Subtitle 3, "Rules of Inter-
pretation", the catchlines or section headings of the several sections
of this Ordinance are intended as mere catchwords to indicate the
