Section 13-320.6. Building Height Limits.

Structures within Maritime Districts shall not exceed the height
of structures in adjacent zoning districts. If there is more than one
(1) adjacent zoning district, structures shall not exceed the average
maximum height permitted in said districts.

Section 13-320.7. Piers, Piling and Buoy Installations.

(a)    Piers, piling and buoy installations shall be limited to (1)
the water area as defined in Section 13-320.2, (2) one-half (½) the
distance from mean high water line to the center line of the body of
water upon which situated, or (3) three FIVE hundred feet (300')
(500') from the waterfront (at mean high tide), whichever is less.

(b)    The location of piers, piling, buoy installations and launch-
ing facilities shall be designated by the Planning and Zoning Officer,
provided that the choice of location shall be limited only to that
alternative set forth in subsection (1), (2), (3) or (4) hereof which
would cause the least interference to neighboring uses. Said piers,
piling, buoy installations and launching facilities shall be located not
less than twenty feet (20') from a line extended:

(1)    From the side property line at a ninety degree (90°) angle
to the main course of the body of water, or

(2)    From the extension of the last course of the side property
lines into the water, or

(3)    From the side property lines to the center of the cove.

(4)    From the side property lines generally parallel with exist-
ing piers as located on adjacent properties.

Section 13-320.8. Sanitary Facilities.

(a)    Not less than one (1) toilet, nor less than one (1) lavatory
shall be provided for each sex. Additional facilities, above the mini-
mum, shall be provided at the rate of one (1) toilet and one (1)
lavatory for each sex for each 200 boat slips and/or mooring buoys,
or fraction thereof. Sanitary facilities on boats docked at the marina
shall not be used. The discharge of any waste (whether liquid or
solid, or treated or untreated) into the Chesapeake Bay or its tribu-
taries from any vessel berthed at a marina, dock or basin is hereby
prohibited. The marina owner shall post notices of said regulations
in conspicuous places at the shore and water ends of piers, and said
owner shall not knowingly extend the privileges of the marina to
any violator.

(b)    If public sewer is available, such sanitary facilities shall
be located ashore not more than one hundred feet (100') from the
shore end of the dock. In other cases, placement shall be as close as
soil condition and topography permits; if there is more than one (1)
pier, said facilities shall be centrally located.

(c)    Sanitary facilities required for berthing shall be in addition
to those required for other uses.
