Sharptown                                       2351

WARD FIVE: That sector of the Town which lies between the follow-
ing boundaries: The north side of Addison Road from Central Avenue to
"D" Street, thence Northeast along the west side of "D" Street to the
Cabin Branch, thence Southeast along the Cabin Branch to Central Avenue,
thence along Central Avenue to Addison Road.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED that
any section or sections of the Charter of the Town of Seat Pleasant,
Maryland, which are inconsistent with the above enacted Section, be and
the same are hereby repealed.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED that
the aforegoing proposed amendment shall be posted in the Town Hall
for a period of at least (40) days following its adoption, and shall further
be published in The Enquirer-Gazette once in each of four successive
weeks before the 24th day of October, 1970.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED that
the proposed amendment will become and be considered a part of the
Municipal Charter of the Town of Seat Pleasant on the 3rd day of Novem-
ber, 1970, unless a petition is filed pursuant to Article 23(a), Section 13,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 Edition as amended, said petition
to be filed on or before the 24th day of October, 1970, by the Mayor and
Common Council of Seat Pleasant, Maryland.

AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED AND ORDAINED, that this
Ordinance shall take effect on the 3rd day of November, 1970.

SHARPTOWN

A Resolution of the Commissioners of Sharptown adopted pursuant
to the authority of Article 11E of the Constitution of Maryland and
Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966
Replacement Volume), title "Corporations—Municipal", subtitle
"Home Rule", to amend the municipal Charter of the Commissioners
of Sharptown by adding new Sections 516A to 516F, inclusive, to
the Code of Public Local Laws of Wicomico County (1965 Edition), to
be under the new subtitle "Sewers", such sections setting forth power
and authority of the Commissioners of Sharptown to construct,
finance, operate and maintain a system for the collection, treatment
and disposal of sanitary sewerage, including provisions setting forth
the borrowing power of the town in connection therewith, describ-
ing the tenor of municipal obligations thereunder and the sources of
payment with regard thereto, providing that bonds or notes may be sold
at private sale, and relating generally to the construction, operation
and maintenance of a sanitary sewer system and the borrowing of
money to finance such a system.

Section 1. BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of Sharp-
town that the Charter of the municipal corporation known as the Com-
missioners of Sharptown, as such Charter is contained in the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Wicomico County (1965 Edition) be and it is hereby
amended by adding thereto new Sections 516A to 516F to be under the
new subtitle "Sewers" and to read as follows:
