Enforcement Duties," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

4.

(b) Police employees shall not act within the limits of any
incorporated municipality which maintains a police force except (1)
when in pursuit of an offender or suspected offender; (2) when in
search of an offender or suspected offender wanted for a crime
committed outside of the limits of the municipality, or when inter-
viewing or seeking to interview a witness or supposed witness to
such a crime; (3) when requested to act by the chief executive officer
or the chief police officer of the municipality; (4) when ordered by
the Governor to act within the municipality; [or] (5) when en-
forcing the motor vehicle laws of this State; or (6) in any building
or place when ordered by the President of the Senate and the Speaker
of the House of Delegates, or either of them, to guard the safety of
legislators or the integrity of the legislative process.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 19
(Senate Bill 116)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 160 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1963 Edition),
being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Allegany County," subtitle "Fire Companies," as last amended by
Chapter 65 of the Acts of 1971, to change the payment to a certain
volunteer fire department in Allegany County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 160 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany
County (1963 Edition), being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County," subtitle "Fire Com-
panies," as last amended by Chapter 65 of the Acts of 1971, is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
