4. The effective date of the Charter Amendment.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of
College Park be, and he is specifically enjoined and instructed to carry
out the provisions as hereinbefore stated as evidence of compliance here-
with, the said Mayor shall cause to be affixed to the Minutes of this
meeting:

1.   An appropriate certificate of publication in the newspaper in which
the title of this Resolution shall have been published; and

2.    Return receipts of the mailing referred to in the before sections,
and shall further complete and execute the certificate of effect attached
hereto.

Boundaries

Section 3. Corporate limits and boundaries.
The corporate limits and boundaries of said city shall be as follows:

A. To include certain properties lying within the Riverdale, Berwyn
and Vansvill Districts, Prince George's County, Maryland, and as de-
scribed in the following metes and bounds: Beginning for the same on the
western line of the Baltimore-Washington Boulevard, U.S. Route No. 1
(60 feet wide), at a stone about (200) feet north of the line between the
Riverdale (No. 19) and Berwyn (No. 21) Districts, said stone being the
southeast end of the S. 53° 59' E. 2846.6 feet line (eleventh) of Mueller
to Gilbert dated September 18, 1918, and recorded in Liber 134 at
Folio 311 of the Land Records of Prince George's County, and running
by and with the said line, reversed, N. 53° 59' W. 2846.6 feet to a stone;
thence continuing N. 53° 59' W. along the prolongation of said eleventh
line of Mueller to Gilbert, reversed, to its intersection with the prolongation
of the present western boundary of the University of Maryland property
extended in a southerly direction; thence northerly by and with the pro-
longation and said western boundary lines of the University of Maryland
to the centerline of Campus Drive; thence westerly with the centerline
of Campus Drive to its intersection with the easterly line of Adelphi Road;
thence northerly with the easterly line of Adelphi Road to its intersection
with the northerly line of a conveyance from Metzerott to the University
of Maryland, said line being the north side of Metzerott Road, thence run-
ning with the northerly lines of said conveyance the five following course
and distances, south 84° 31' 46" east 468.20 feet, north 22° 29' 14" east
530.50 feet, north 58° 19' 44" east 740.76 feet, south 70° 12' 06" east
1616.00 feet more or less, south 80° 12' 06" east 693.00 feet to a point,
thence running with the outlines of a conveyance to The Howard County
Development Corporation, north 39° 29' 06" east 669.61 feet to a point,
thence north 74° 47' 30" east 987.15 feet to a point, thence north 20° 45'
57° east 658.96 feet to a point, thence north 58° 07' 40" west 428.85 feet to
a point, thence south 89° 54' 22" west 274.53 feet to a point, thence south
69° 42' 00" west 738.71 feet to a point, thence south 62° 04' 10" west 528.39
