Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

AN ACT to add new Section 10A-19(h) to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Frederick County (1959 Edition and supplements thereto,
being Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Frederick County," subtitle "Part I. General Local Laws,"
subheading "Metropolitan Commission," to follow immediately
after Section 10A-19(g) thereof, to authorize the Metropolitan
Commission to assess certain charges when existing water supply,
sewerage or drainage systems require expansion under certain con-
ditions.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 10A-19(h) be and it is hereby added to the Code
of Public Local Laws of Frederick County (1959 Edition and supple-
ments thereto, being Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Frederick County," subtitle "Part I. General
Local Laws," subheading "Metropolitan Commission," to follow im-
mediately after Section 10A-19(g) thereof, and to read as follows:
10A-19.
(h) When an existing water supply, sewerage, or drainage sys-
tem requires expansion, the Commission shall have the authority
to charge the current front foot assessment rate plus an additional
front foot charge to recover the necessary principal and interest
on bonds issued for the purpose of the expansion from those prop-
erties served by the expansion only.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.
