or the vice-chairman of the commission, if the governing body of
Prince George's County or the county executive of Montgomery
County
so directs. THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY COUNCIL MAY
DESIGNATE A MEMBER OF THE COMMISSION FROM THAT
COUNTY TO SERVE ON A FULL-TIME BASIS PROVIDED
THAT PERSON HAS BEEN DESIGNATED BY THAT COUNTY
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 70-10 OF THIS CHAP-
TER TO SERVE AS CHAIRMAN OR VICE-CHAIRMAN OF THE
COMMISSION. For any such member designated BY PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTY to serve on a full-time basis, the governing
ing body of Prince George's THAT County or the county executive of
Montgomery County, with the approval of the county council, may
authorize such supplementary salary as may be deemed appropriate;
FOR ANY MEMBER DESIGNATED BY MONTGOMERY
COUNTY TO SERVE ON A FULL-TIME BASIS, THE COUNTY
COUNCIL WITH APPROVAL OF THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE,
MAY AUTHORIZE SUCH SUPPLEMENTARY SALARY AS
MAY BE APPROPRIATE. IN THE EVENT THE COUNTY EX-
ECUTIVE FAILS TO APPROVE A SUPPLEMENTARY SALARY
AUTHORIZATION BY THE COUNCIL HEREUNDER WITHIN
THIRTY DAYS, THE COUNCIL MAY, BY AN AFFIRMATIVE
VOTE OF FIVE OF ITS MEMBERS, AUTHORIZE SUCH SUP-
PLEMENTARY SALARY NOTWITHSTANDING THE LACK OF
APPROVAL OF THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE. and this ANY sup-
plementary salary AUTHORIZED HEREUNDER shall also be pay-
able from the administrative tax collected by the commission.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 599
(House Bill 1223)

AN ACT to add a new Section 12 to Article 75C of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Prohibited
Actions," to follow immediately after Section 11 thereof, and
providing that wherever a self-funding plan of an Order, Society
or Association provides for reimbursement for medical, dental, or
podiatric services, any person covered by such plan shall be en-
titled to reimbursement for such service whether said service is
performed by a physician, dentist or podiatrist.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 12 be and it is hereby added to Article 75C of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title
"Prohibited Actions," to follow immediately after Section 11 thereof,
and to read as follows:
