(2)    A proceeding involving a child who has reached his 16th
birthday, alleged to have done an act in violation of any provision
of Article 66½ or any other traffic law or ordinance (other than
manslaughter by automobile, possession of a stolen motor vehicle,
unauthorized use or occupancy of a motor vehicle, tampering with a
motor vehicle, or operating a vehicle under the influence of intoxi-
cating liquor or drugs) [.] ;

(3)    A proceeding involving a child who has reached his fourteenth
SIXTEENTH birthday, alleged to have done an act in violation of Sec-
tion 488 of Article 27 concerning the crime of robbery with a deadly
weapon, unless an order removing the proceeding to the juvenile
court has been filed pursuant to Section 594A of Article 27.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 594A of Article 27
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and
1971 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Venue, Procedure and Sentence," subheading "Procedure," be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

594A.

In any case involving a child who has reached his fourteenth
(14th) birthday but has not reached his eighteenth (18th) birthday
at the time of any alleged offense excluded under the provisions of
Section 70-2 (d) (1) or (3) of Article 26, the court exercising
jurisdiction may transfer the case to the juvenile court if a waiver
is believed to be in the interests of the child and/or society.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of this Act
shall be construed only prospectively and shall not be applied or
interpreted to have any effect upon or application to any event or
happening occurring prior to the effective date of this Act.

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 515
(House Bill 482)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 329 of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1971 Replace-
ment Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Health," subtitle
"Plumbing," to provide that an applicant for a master's or jour-
neyman's plumber's license pay an examination fee, and to correct
certain erroneous language therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 329 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
