secutive annual installments; (iii) the rate or rates of interest pay-
able thereon or the manner of determining the same, and the date
or dates of such payment; (iv) the tenor, form or forms, denomi-
nation or denominations, manner of execution, which may be by
facsimile (provided only that the Secretary or deputy secretary,
or an assistant secretary specially designated by the Secretary for
such purpose, shall manually execute the bonds on behalf of the
Department), and the place or places of payment thereof and the
interest thereon, which may be at any bank or trust company
within or without this State; (v) the terms and conditions of the
public sale of the bonds; (vi) the form of notice of sale, which
shall outline those terms and conditions; (vii) the form of adver-
tisement, which shall be published at least once in a newspaper
having a general circulation in Baltimore City and also at least once
in a journal having a circulation among banks and investment bank-
ers, and at least one such publication of which shall be made not
less than 10 days before the sale of bonds; (viii) whether such
bonds or any part thereof shall be made redeemable before maturity
and, if so, upon what terms, conditions and prices; and (ix) any
other matter relating to the form, terms, conditions, issuance, sale
and delivery of the bonds. THE ACTUAL CASH PROCEEDS OF
THE SALE OF THE BONDS AUTHORIZED BY THIS SECTION
SHALL BE PAID TO THE TREASURER OF THE STATE TO
BE CREDITED TO THE TRANSPORTATION TRUST FUND
PURSUANT TO SECTION 11 OF THIS ARTICLE.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to add new subsection 14-109 (a-1) to Article 66½ of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title
"Vehicle Laws," subtitle "Size, Weight and Load," to follow im-
mediately after Section 14-109 (a) thereof to provide that certain
semi-trailers and containers used in transporting international
freight be exempted from certain axle and gross weight limita-
tions, and generally relating thereto.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new subsection 14-109 (a-1) be and it is hereby added to Article
66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Vol-
ume), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle "Size, Weight and Load," to
follow immediately after Section 14-109 (a) thereof and to be read
as follows:
14-109 (a).
(1) The table of gross weights set forth in subsection (a) above,
shall not apply to combinations of vehicles when transporting inter-
