or private colleges or universities in the State.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 53 of Article 77A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1969 Replacement Volume), title "Higher Education," subtitle
"Scholarships," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendment, to read as follows:
53.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this subtitle or elsewhere
in this article, whenever there is a requirement in any provision
of this subtitle or elsewhere in this article that an applicant awarded
a scholarship shall give a bond to teach in the public schools of this
State for a specified time, all bonds required of such scholarship
applicants or appointees, hereafter given, shall be in such amount
and with such security as may be approved by the State Scholar-
ship Board and shall contain a provision or condition to the effect
that within five years after leaving the educational institution to
which the appointee is awarded a scholarship, excluding a miximum
MAXIMUM of four years in military service, he or she will teach
in the public schools of the State for not less than two years. After
July 1, 1972, the teaching requirement imposed by this section may
be satisfied by teaching in any public or private institution of higher
education in the State.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to add new Section 21F to Article 83 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1971 Supplement), title "Sales and Notices" sub-
title "Consumer Protection" to follow immediately after Section
21E thereof, to provide that all persons selling CERTAIN RE-
SERVE SEAT tickets for ATHLETIC, recreational, cultural, or
entertainment events shall prominently display at the ticket pur-
chase location a seating plan of the place where the event is to
be held. CLEARLY SHOWING THE LOCATION OF ALL RE-
SERVE SEATS, AND ALL PHYSICAL OBSTRUCTIONS TO
THE VIEWING OF THE EVENT.
