In the tributaries of Chesapeake Bay except as hereinbefore pro-
vided, and in the Potomac River—400 yards.

In Chincoteague, Sinepuxent, Isle of Wight and Assawoman bays,
and their tributaries, and in the Atlantic Ocean within three miles
of the Maryland shore—500 yards.

In Hongo River, south of a line drawn from Hickory Point on
Middle Hoopers Island to Windmill Point on Aisquith Island—500
yards.

In Hoopers Straits—500 yards.

In Fishing Bay, south of a line from Point No Point to Gray's
Island—[500] 550 yards.

In [Dorchester County waters only, of] the Nanticoke River, south
of a line from the mouth of Jack's Creek in Dorchester County to
Triangulation Station Earle in Wicomico County—[500] 550 yards.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby de-
clared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety and having been passed
by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 450
(Senate Bill 369)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 123˝
(2) and 123˝ (4) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Calvert
County (1963 Edition, being Article 5 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Calvert County," subtitle "County Com-
missioners," as repealed and enacted anew by the Acts of 1970;
to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 54A (2) and
54A (4) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles County (1969
Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Charles County," subtitle "County Commis-
sioners," as repealed and enacted anew by the Acts of 1970; and
to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 46A (b) and
(d) of the Code of Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County (1970
Supplement to the 1965 Edition, being Article 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland); to provide that the Tri-County
Council shall be tax-exempt; to provide that the Attorney General
of Maryland shall be the legal advisor to the Council; and to pro-
vide that the Council is to be immune from being sued.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 123˝ (2) and 123˝ (4) of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Calvert County (1963 Edition, being Article 5 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Calvert County," subtitle
