the Library Company of the Baltimore Bar shall file an annual
financial report with the Director of the Administrative Office
for the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City. AND WITH THE
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE OF BALTIMORE CITY.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new subsection (c) be and it is hereby added to Section 10 of
Article 36 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement
Volume and 1970 Supplement), title "Fees of Officers," subtitle
"Attorneys," to follow immediately after subsection (b) thereof, and
to read as follows:

10.

(c) In Baltimore City, the clerks of the several courts of the
Supreme Bench of Baltimore City shall transmit on a quarterly
basis one hundred per centum (100%) of all appearance fees collected
by them under the provisions of subsection (a) above to the Library
Company of the Baltimore Bar, to be used for the general purposes
of the Bar Library of Baltimore City. The Library Company of the
Baltimore Bar shall file an annual financial report with the Director
of the Administrative Office of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City.
AND WITH THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE OF BALTIMORE
CITY. BALTIMORE CITY EMPLOYEES SHALL HAVE THE
FREE USE OF THE BAR LIBRARY IN CONNECTION WITH
OFFICIAL DUTIES.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 433
(Senate Bill 18)

AN ACT to add new Section 8A to Article 21 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume), title "Conveyancing,"
subtitle "Conveyances in General," to follow immediately after
Section 8 thereof, to provide that CERTAIN reservations, grants,
bequests, gifts, devises, or dedications of easements or uses in land
or the buildings thereon to the Maryland Historical Trust or the
Maryland Environmental Trust shall be valid notwithstanding the
fact that one of the Trusts may not be a party to the instrument
affecting the same or control an actual dominant tenement in rela-
tion to the same, and providing for the passage of certain interests
or estates in real property to the Maryland Historical Trust or the
Maryland Environmental Trust under certain conditions.
