limit exceeds 35 miles per hour, or upon any controlled-access high-
way, except in Charles, Worcester and St. Mary's counties.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

(House Bill 502)
AN ACT to add new Section 6-105.2 to Article 66½ of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title "Vehicle
Laws," subtitle "Drivers' Licenses," subheading "Part I. Issuance
of Licenses, Expiration and Renewal," to follow immediately
after Section 6-105.1 to provide that any person enrolled in licensed
driving school as provided in Part V of this subtitle may operate a
dual-controlled motor vehicle under certain circumstances with-
out an instruction and examination license, and to provide that the
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may accept a certificate of proof
of the applicant's knowledge of the traffic laws of the State without
further examination of his knowledge.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 6-105.2 be and it is hereby added to Article 66½ of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title
"Vehicle Laws," subtitle "Drivers' Licenses," subheading "Part I.
Issuance of Licenses, Expiration and Renewal," to follow immedi-
ately after Section 6-105.1 and to read as follows:
6-105.2.
Any person 15 years of age or older enrolled in a licensed driver's
school as provided in Part V of this subtitle may operate a, dual-
controlled motor vehicle without an instruction and examination
license when that person is under instruction and accompanied by an
instructor who holds a valid license under the provisions of Part V
of this subtitle. The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may accept a
certificate as proof of the applicant's knowledge of the traffic laws
of the State without further examination as to his knowledge.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.
