(5)     Bailiffs in Garrett County shall each receive compensation
as the County Commissioners of said county shall determine, but not
exceeding ten dollars ($10.00) per day.

(6)     Bailiffs in Baltimore County shall each receive such compen-
sation as the court of said county shall determine.

(7)    Bailiffs and criers in Harford County shall each receive such
compensation as the court shall determine but not exceeding a total
of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per year for all bailiffs
and criers in said county.

(8)     Bailiffs in Carroll, Montgomery, Talbot and Wicomico coun-
ties shall each receive such compensation as the County Commission-
ers of said counties shall determine.

(9)     Bailiffs in Frederick County shall each receive one hundred
and thirty dollars ($130.00) per month.

(10)     Bailiffs in Queen Anne's County shall each receive seven
dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) per day.

(11)    Bailiffs in Charles County shall receive an amount per day
to be determined by the County Commissioners and approved by the
Circuit Court of Charles County, not to exceed, however, [the
amount paid to jurors] twenty dollars ($20.00).

(12)     Bailiffs in St. Mary's, Somerset, Worcester and Kent coun-
ties shall each receive ten dollars ($10.00) per day.

(13)    Bailiffs in Dorchester County shall receive ten dollars
($10.00) for each day they attend the Circuit Court.

(14)    Bailiffs in Caroline County shall receive ten dollars ($10.00)
per day.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

(House Bill 658)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 296 and 297 of Article 66C of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title
"Natural Resources," subtitle "Fish and Fisheries," subheading
"Part 2. Tidal Waters," repealing certain laws concerning licenses
to operate nets and seines, these laws being unnecessary and super-
fluous in relation to other legislation.

Whereas, Chapter 588 of the Acts of 1970 purported to repeal
Sections 296 and 297 of Article 66C of the Code in relation to other
laws being enacted at that time; and
