AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 98A of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume and 1970 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle
"Hours and Days for Sale," changing the hours during which sales
of alcoholic beverages may be made on weekdays in Garrett County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 98A of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1970 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for Sale," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and to read as follows:
98A.
In Garrett County notwithstanding any other provisions of this
subtitle, the hours during which sales of any alcoholic beverages may
be made under any class of license issued under this article on any
weekday are from 6 o'clock a.m. daily to [1] 2 o'clock a.m. on the
following day. It is unlawful for any person to sell or for any person
to consume any alcoholic beverages on any premises licensed under
this article between the hours of [1] 2 o'clock a.m. and 6 o'clock
a.m. on any day of the week or at any time on Sunday after 1 a.m.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 45 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1963 Edition and
1967 Supplement, being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Allegany County," subtitle "County Commis-
sioners," to change the requirement for the number of meetings
per week, under certain conditions.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 45 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County
(1963 Edition and 1967 Supplement, being Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Allegany County," subtitle
"County Commissioners," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

The County Commissioners of Allegany County, after their elec-
tion and qualification, shall at the first meeting in each new term,
