require travel outside of the State on county business. The fund shall
be available to any one or all of the commissioners in equal propor-
tions. Reimbursement out of this fund shall be dependent on the
presentation of vouchers by the commissioner(s) to evidence the
expense.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

(House Bill 1248)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
230½ (a) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil County
(1961 Edition, being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Cecil County," subtitle "Jail Board," as added
by Chapter 331 of the Acts of 1970, to provide that the creation
of a Jail Board for Cecil County is discretionary with the County
Commissioners.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 230½(a) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil
County (1961 Edition, being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Cecil County," subtitle "Jail Board," as
added by Chapter 331 of the Acts of 1970, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
230½.
(a) [There is hereby created] The County Commissioners may
authorize the creation of a Jail Board for Cecil County. The Board
shall be composed of three members, appointed by the County Com-
missioners of Cecil County for terms of five years, provided that
initially one member shall be appointed for a three (3) year term,
another for a four (4) year term, and the third for a five (5)
year term.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.
