(House Bill 1200)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 41(b-7)
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "General Provisions on
Issue of Licenses," exempting Class B liquor license holders using
the Ocean City Convention Hall premises from the limitation of
one license.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 41(b-7) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1970 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Gen-
eral Provisions on Issue of Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(b-7) The provisions of subsection (a) of this section shall not
apply to licenses issued under Section 19(m-l) and Section 25(k-1)
of this article.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby declared
to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate preser-
vation of the public health and safety and having been passed by a
yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected
to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 24 and
26 (b) of Article 96A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Supplement), title "Water Resources," subtitle "Pollution Abate-
ment"; and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
108(a), 109 and 110 of said Article and title of the Code (1970
Supplement), subtitle "Sediment Control," to correct certain er-
roneous language and references therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 24 and 26(b) of Article 96A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1970 Supplement), title "Water Resources," subtitle
"Pollution Abatement," and Sections 108(a), 109 and 110 of said
Article and title of said Code (1970 Supplement), subtitle "Sediment
Control," be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, and all to read as follows:
