CHAPTER 141
(House Bill 300)
AN ACT to repeal Subsection (h) of Section 155 of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Boards of License Commis-
sioners," to eliminate the two hundred dollars ($200.00) sum
annually provided for the Carroll County Commissioners for serv-
ices in acting as members of the board of license commissioners.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Subsection (h) of Section 155 of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Boards of License Commissioners," be and it
is hereby repealed.
[(h) Carroll County—In Carroll County each of the members
of the Board of County Commissioners shall receive, in addition to
their present salaries, the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per
annum for their services in acting as members of the board of
license commissioners.]
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take place
on July 1, 1971.

(House Bill 391)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 19(f-˝)
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer,
Wine and Liquor Licenses," to remove one of the requirements a
hotel or restaurant in Frederick County may meet in order to be
issued a certain liquor license and to remove the requirement that
every licensee under this subsection submit annually to the liquor
commissioner of the county an audit showing the amount of receipts
from sales of food and alcoholic beverages.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19(f-˝) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," sub-
title "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
19.
(f-˝) Frederick County.—(1) In Frederick County the annual
fee for such a license is fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) for a
restaurant and fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) for a hotel.
(2) Any hotel meeting the minimum requirements of subsection
(o) of this section may elect to be issued a license under that subsec-
tion, or any bona fide hotel may elect to be issued a license under
