to have been given by the insurer for the purposes of this sub-
section; provided, however, that no such notices shall be required
where the agent or broker has replaced the insurance.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 29-4 (b) (4)
of the Baltimore County Code (1968 Edition, being Article 3 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore
County," subtitle "Title 29. Revenue Authority," subheading
"Authority—Powers Generally," to provide that the Authority
may sell, transfer and convey any of its projects or property to
any person, and relating generally to procedure to be covered.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 29-4 (b) (4) of the Baltimore County Code (1968
Edition, being Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Baltimore County," subtitle "Title 29. Revenue
Authority," subheading "Authority—Powers Generally," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as
follows:
29-4.
(b) (4) To acquire, purchase, hold and use any property, real,
personal or mixed, tangible or intangible, or any interest necessary
or desirable for carrying out the purposes of the authority, and
(without limitation of the foregoing) to lease as lessee any property,
real, personal or mixed, or any interest therein, for a term not
exceeding ninety-nine years at a nominal rental or such annual rental
as may be determined; to lease as lessor to the state or the county, or
to any political subdivision thereof, or to any person any project at
any time constructed by the authority, whether wholly or partially
completed, and any property, real, personal or mixed, tangible or
intangible, or any interest therein, at any time acquired by the
authority, whether wholly or partially completed; and to sell, trans-
fer and convey to the state or to the county, or to any political
subdivision thereof, or to any person any project or any part thereof
at any time constructed by the authority, whether wholly or partially
completed, and any property, real, personal or mixed, tangible or
intangible, or any interest therein, at any time acquired by the
authority, provided such disposition has been advertised once a
week for three successive weeks in one or more newspapers of
general circulation published in the county, stating the terms thereof
and the compensation to be received therefor; provided further that
no such sale, transfer, or conveyance shall be made to any person
other than the county until such sale, transfer, or conveyance is
first offered to the county for its acceptance or rejection.
