(Senate Bill 298)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 21 of
Article 73B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Pensions," subtitle "Employees of Municipal
Corporations," amending the law concerning the membership of
certain employees of municipal corporations in order to permit
them to elect to remain in the Employees' Retirement System if
the municipal corporation ceases to meet the definition in this
section. AND TO CORRECT AN ERROR THEREIN.
