(a) Amounts in general.—Each member of the boards of the sev-
eral political subdivisions of the State shall receive an annual salary
of not less than the following amounts:

(1)  Allegany County: $1,080.

(2)  Anne Arundel County: $1,800.

(3)  Baltimore City: $5,000; such salaries shall be established in
the annual ordinance of estimates but shall not be less than as pro-
vided herein.

(4)  Baltimore County: The chairman of the board shall receive
such annual compensation as may be included in the county budget
from time to time but, in no event, to be less than $4,000 per annum.
The associate members of the board shall receive such annual com-
pensation as may be included in said budget from time to time? but, in
no event, to be less than $3,000 per annum.

(5)   Calvert County: $500.

(6)  Caroline County: $300.

(7)   Carroll County: $800.

(8)  Cecil County: $600.

(9)   Charles County: $600.

(10)  Dorchester County: $500.

(11)  Frederick County: $800.

(12)  Garrett County: ($900.00).

(13)  Harford County: $800.

(14)  Howard County: chairman, $1,800.00; associate members,
$1,200.00 each.

(15)  Kent County: $400.

(16)  Montgomery County: [$2,000] [.] for those incumbent mem-
bers as of July 1, 1971. Members appointed to the next biennial term,
following July 1, 1971, shall receive $3,000, plus an additional sum
of $500. for the chairman of the board.

(17)   Prince George's County: $3,000.

(18)  Queen Anne's County: $500.

(19)  St. Mary's County: $500.

(20)  Somerset County: $1,000.

(21)  Talbot County: $600.

(22)  Washington County: $800.

(23)  Wicomico County: $800. for each member of the board, plus
an additional sum of $200. for the chairman of the board.

(24)  Worcester County: $800. for each member of the board, plus
an additional sum of $200. for the chairman of the board.
