violated the terms of the order, he may issue his warrant for the

apprehension of the defendant and forthwith proceed to sentence.
In the event of
violation of the recognizance, it may be forfeited
and transmitted with a
memorandum of the forfeiture to the court
of criminal jurisdiction to be filed among its records and be
enforced

as recognizances therein taken and forfeited, the court being also

empowered to apply the proceeds upon collection as provided in
preceding sections. Upon the imposition of a fine by the judge he

may also dispose thereof for the benefit of wife or child or children

as in the preceding sections provided. After vacation of office by
death, removal, expiration of term, or otherwise, of the judge who
has passed an order upon conviction or submission, if there be a
violation thereof, the succeeding judge in any county, may issue
process and proceed in all
respects in regard to the defendant as
the judge who heard the case might do.

(d) The District Court shall have concurrent jurisdiction of juve-

nile causes with the circuit court of the county sitting for juvenile

causes. In Montgomery County only, the district court shall have

such jurisdiction over juvenile causes as is provided in Article 26
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition as amended), sub-
title "Juvenile Causes in Montgomery County."

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 39
(Senate Bill 53)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 166A
and 166B of Article 48 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967
1965 Replacement Volume), title "Inspections," subtitle "Eggs,"
providing for the marking, seizure and condemnation of eggs unfit
for human consumption, and increasing the penalties for viola-
tions of the subtitle.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 166A and 166B of Article 48 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1967 1965 Replacement Volume), title "Inspections,"
subtitle "Eggs," be and are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

166A.

The Maryland State Board of Agriculture through its duly ap-
pointed agents and enforcing officers, is hereby authorized, directed
