(10)    Where two or more contractors are involved, the private sewer-
age system fee of ten dollars shall be further broken down so that a separate
five dollar permit is taken out for a septic tank and a five dollar permit
for either a drainfield, drywell or other secondary treatment.

(b) Where no work has been done under a permit issued hereunder
the holder of the permit may deliver same to the department and upon
cancellation thereof, there shall be refunded to him seventy-five per cent
of the fee paid therefor; provided, that application for such refund is made
within six months of the issuance of such permit.

Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Ordinance
shall take effect forty-five (45) days from the date it becomes law.

Bill No. 68-70

An Ordinance to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 14-
300 (11) (a) and (b) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edi-
tion and Supplements, as amended by Bill No. 85-69), Title 14, "Police",
Subtitle 3, "Police and Fire Service Retirement", changing the
date from which an employee's retirement is determined; to add new
Sections 14-301 (c) and (d) to said Code, Title and Subtitle, to follow
immediately after Section 14-301 (b) thereof, providing for transfers
from the Employees' Retirement Plan to the Police and Fire Service
Retirement Plan, and from the Police and Fire Service Retirement
Plan to the Employees' Retirement Plan; to repeal and re-enact Sec-
tions 14-302 (a) (1) and (2) of said Code, Title and Subtitle (as
amended by Bill No. 85-69), changing the date from which pensions
shall be calculated; to add new Section 14-308 (b) (3) to said Code,
Title and Subtitle (as amended by Bill No. 85-69) to follow immediately
after Section 14-308 (b) (2) thereof, terminating the option of certain
participants who had elected a contingent annuitant option; to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Section 14-309 (a) of said Code, Title
and Subtitle, changing the amount of contributions to the Police and
Fire Service Retirement Plan; and matters generally related thereto.

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Sections 14-300 (11)
