Subtitle 1, "Generally", to follow immediately after Section 2-102
thereof, increasing the compensation of the members of the Board of
Appeals.

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That new Section 2-103, be
and it is hereby added to the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 2, "Board of Appeals", Subtitle 1, "Generally", to follow
immediately after Section 2-102 thereof, and to read as follows:

Section 2-103

The members of the Board of Appeals shall be paid at the rate of
Two Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($2,100.00) per year.

Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions
of this Ordinance shall not be construed to extend or apply to the members
of the Board of Appeals in office on the effective date of this Ordinance,
but the provisions of this Ordinance shall take effect with the next term of
office.

Section 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Ordinance
shall take effect forty-five (45) days after it becomes law.

An Ordinance to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 12-
1108 (a) (1), (a) (2) (A) and (a) (3) of the Anne Arundel County
Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and
Inspections", Subtitle II, "Plumbing", Article II, "Permits and In-
stallations", increasing the fees for certain plumbing permits.

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND that Section 12-1108(a) (1)
(A), (a) (2) (A) and (a) (3) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967
Edition and Supplements), Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and inspections",
Subtitle II, "Plumbing", Article II, "Permits and Installations", be, and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Section 12-1108

(a) Prior to the issuance of any permit, the applicant therefor shall
pay to the county the following fees:

(1)  Permit for new installation

(A)   First fixture if no on site private sewer is

required.......................................................... [$ 3.75] $5.00

(B)   First fixture if on site private sewerage sys-

tem is required.............................................. 10.00

(C)   Each additional fixture...................................... 1.50

(D)   Private sewerage system.................................. 10.00

(2)  Reconstruction or addition to existing plumbing

(A)   First fixture if no on site private sewer is

required........................................................ [3.75] 5.00

(B)    First fixture if on site private sewerage sys-
