(b) The following uses shall be permitted in C4 Highway Com-
mercial Districts in accordance with the conditions hereinafter set forth
(in addition to the other provisions of this Heading):

(1)    Auction establishments, only if not providing outdoor storage.

(2)    Circuses, temporary COMMERCIAL CIRCUSES OR CARNI-
VALS (TEMPORARY), provided:

(i) Occupancy permits may be issued for a term PERIOD not exceed-
ing THIRTY (30) DAYS; AND ANY BINDING COMMITMENT FOR
A PARTICULAR PARCEL SHALL BE FOR A TERM NOT EXCEED-
ING two (2) years, subject to renewal; and

(ii) The principal vehicular access for such use shall not be located
on a freeway, arterial, or local street; and

(ill) The principal vehicular access shall be located on a collector
street within one-half (˝) mile of the freeway or arterial highway; and

(iv) Such use shall not draw vehicular traffic to and through local
streets in nearby residential areas; and

(v) Such use shall not be located less than four hundred feet (400')
of a residential district; and

(vi) Vehicular entrances and exits for such use shall be provided
separately, not less than fifty feet (50') apart, nor less than fifty feet (50')
from any street intersection; and

(vii) No rides or other apparatus shall be located at a distance less
than fifty feet (50') from any lot line or less than one hundred feet (100')
from any residential lot line; and

(viii) No automobile parking space shall be located within any re-
quired setback area, or less than fifty feet (50') of any lot line; and

(ix) A minimum lot area of one (1) acre shall be provided.

(3)    Public utilities work buildings and storage yards (provided all
outside storage is screened from all property lines in accordance with the
provisions of Section 13-301.11).

Section 13-314.2—Special Exceptions

Subject to the provisions of Article X, the following special exceptions
are permitted in a C4 Highway Commercial District:

(1)    All uses in conjunction with alcoholic beverage licenses.

(2)    Amusement parks

(3)    Public utilities and structures

(4)    Radio and television towers

(5)    Rifle, pistol, and skeet AND ARCHERY ranges (indoor and
outdoor)

Section 13-314.3—Area Requirements

(a) Each main structure (including its accessory structures) shall
be located on a lot having an area of not less than ten thousand (10,000)
square feet.
