Section 27.15.

"The provisions of the National Fire Protection Association Standard
No. 101, Life Safety Code, 1967 Edition, shall apply in all cases not
specifically covered by the above Articles."

Section 27.16. Outdoor Assembly.

"The provisions of N.F.P.A. No. 102 'Places of Outdoor Assembly'
(1957 Edition) shall apply."

Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, that new Section
28.18 be and it is hereby added to the amendments to Section 10-201 (10) of
said Code, Title and Subtitle, to follow immediately after Section 28.17
thereof, to read as follows :

Section 10-201 (10)

Section 28.18. Fire Lanes.

"(a) Whenever the Chief Fire Prevention Inspector or any Inspector
thereof, shall find Fire Department sprinkler and standpipe connection,
private entrance or exit sidewalks, vehicular driveways or interior private
driveways or sidewalks obstructed by debris, construction material,
vehicles, and other matter which tends to interfere with the ingress or the
operation of fire departments or other emergency vehicles in case of fire, or
emergency, shall order the obstruction removed.

" (b) To effectuate the foregoing as to vehicles, the Director of Public
Works, upon such finding by the Chief Fire Prevention Inspector or any
Inspector thereof, may order "NO PARKING" signs erected, may designate
the placement thereof, and may order that curbs be painted a distinctive
color. The parking of any vehicle, on private property or otherwise, in
violation of the foregoing, shall constitute a misdemeanor; and any persons
convicted thereof, will be subject to the penalty provided in Section 10-202
of this Code."

Section 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, that Section 10-201
(12) of said Code, Title and Subtitle, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Section 10-201 (12)

Article 30 B. Marinas and Boatyards.

(a)    The provisions of the National Fire Protection Association
Standards are hereby adopted and shall govern marinas and boatyards.

(b)    Marinas with piers and wharves which are more than 300 feet in
total length shall be required to install a dry standpipe system consisting of
the following:

(1)    One (1) 2½ inch connection with shut off valve located on the
shoreline at the beginning of the pier or wharf.

(2)    One (1) 2½ inch connection with shut off valve at every 100 feet
or fraction thereof including the first 300 feet. Size of standpipe shall be 2
inch minimum. All threading on 2½ inch outlets to be National Standard
thread.

(3)    Standpipe systems shall be installed in accordance with the
requirements of the National Fire Protection Association Standard No. 14
(Standpipes and Hose Systems), 1963 Edition.
