2400                               County Local Laws

Pike (Md. Route 355), and Grosvenor Lane, and thence running across
said Rockville Pike along the center line of Grosvenor Lane in a westerly
direction to a point where Grosvenor Lane is intersected by Interstate
70-S, and thence running along the center of the right-of-way of said
Interstate 70-S in a northwesterly direction to a point where said 70-S is
intersected by Old Georgetown Road (Md. Route 187), and thence along
said Old Georgetown Road in a southerly direction along the center line of
said road to its junction with Democracy Boulevard, and thence along the
center line of Democracy Boulevard in a westerly direction to the point
where said Democracy Boulevard is intersected by Interstate 270, and
thence running in a northerly direction along the center line of the right-
of-way of said Interstate 270 which becomes Interstate 70-S to a point
where said route is intersected by Tuckerman Lane, and thence westerly
along the center line of Tuckerman Lane via Cabin John Regional Park to a
point where Tuckerman Lane has its junction with Falls Road (Md.
Route 189), and thence running northeasterly along the center line of
said Falls Road to a point where said Falls Road (Md. Route 189) is
intersected by the Potomac Electric Power Company's transmission line,
and thence running in a westerly direction along the southerly boundary of
said Potomac Electric Power Company's right-of-way to its intersection
with Piney Meetinghouse Road, and thence running in a northerly direction
along the center line of Piney Meetinghouse Road to its junction with
Travilah Road, and thence along the center line of said Travilah Road in a
northerly direction to the point of its junction with Darnestown—Rockville
Road (Md. Route 28), and thence in an easterly course along the center
line of said Darnestown—Rockville Road (Md. Route 28), to a point of its
junction with Shady Grove Road, and thence running in a northerly
direction along the center line of said Shady Grove Road and across
Interstate 70-S to a point of junction with Fields Road, and thence
running first in a southeasterly direction and following center line of said
Fields Road, and thence northeasterly along said Fields Road to a point
of its junction with Frederick Road (Md. Route 355), and thence south-
easterly along said Frederick Road to a point where said Frederick Road
has its junction with Redland Road, and thence along the center line of
said Redland Road in a northerly direction to the point of beginning.

(e) Election District No. 5. All that portion of the fifth election
district of the County as herein constituted, included within the
following lines, limits and boundaries in the section mentioned: beginning
at a point of the intersection of the Northwest Branch Creek with the
dividing line of Montgomery County and Prince George's County, and
running thence in a northerly direction along the center line of the bed of
Northwest Branch Creek, running via Wheaton Regional Park and con-
tinuing northerly past Randolph Road and following that main branch of
said Northwest Branch Creek which bears in a westerly direction at the
branch before intersecting Bonifant Road, and thence in said westerly
direction to the point of its intersection with Bonifant Road, and thence
along the center line of said Bonifant Road in a westerly direction to the
point where Bonifant Road and the westerly boundary of Northwest
Branch Park have their junction, and then along said westerly boundary
of said park to the point of its junction with Layhill Road (Md. Route 182),
and thence in a northerly direction along the center line of said Layhill
Road (Md. Route 182) and to the point of its junction with Norbeck Road
(Md. Route 609), and thence along center line of Ednor Road in a
northeasterly direction via Ednor, and thence along the continuation of
the center line of said road in a northeasterly direction to the point where
it joins the boundary line dividing Howard County and Montgomery
