2340                               County Local Laws

River Road, River Road northwest to Bradley Boulevard, Bradley Boule-
vard east to Seven Locks Road, north on Seven Locks Road to Tuckerman
Lane, east on Tuckerman Lane to 70-S, south on 70-S which becomes Route
270 to Democracy Boulevard, east on Democracy Boulevard to Old George-
town Road, north on Old Georgetown Road to 70-S, east on 70-S which
becomes the Beltway Route 495 to a point where the Beltway intersects
Cedar Lane, north on Cedar Lane to Rock Creek, east and south along
Rock Creek to its intersection with the Maryland-District of Columbia Line.

Councilmanic District II: Potomac—Rockville and Up-County

The southern boundary of this District, beginning at the Potomac
River and running to the Patuxent River, is: the Beltway Route 495 to
River Road, River Road northwest to Bradley Boulevard, Bradley Boule-
vard east to Seven Locks Road, Seven Locks Road north to Tuckerman
Lane, west on Tuckerman Lane to Falls Road, northeast on Falls Road to
70-S, 70-S south to Montrose Road, Montrose Road east to its intersection
with the eastern border of Woodmont Country Club, northeast along the
eastern border of Woodmont Country Club to Rockville Pike, south on
Rockville Pike to Halpine Road, northeast on Halpine Road which becomes
Twinbrook Parkway to Veirs Mill Road, south on Veirs Mill Road until
it intersects with Rock Creek north along Rock Creek to Norbeck Road,
Norbeck Road northeast to Route 97, (Georgia Avenue), north on Georgia
Avenue to Norbeck Road (Route 609), Norbeck Road easterly to Layhill
Road, Layhill Road northeast to Ednor Road, east along Ednor Road to its
intersection with Cedar Lane, east along Cedar Lane to its intersection
with the Montgomery County—Howard County Line.

Councilmanic District III: South Rockville/Kensington-Wheaton

Councilmanic District III is bounded on the north and west by the
boundaries of the Second Councilmanic District and on the south by the
northern boundary of Councilmanic District I. The eastern boundary of
this District begins on Georgia Avenue at its intersection with Norbeck
Road, south on Georgia Avenue to Weller Road, west on Weller Road to
Connecticut Avenue, south on Connecticut Avenue to Veirs Mill Road,
southeast on Veirs Mill Road to University Boulevard, west on University
Boulevard to Drumm Avenue, Drumm Avenue south to Blueford Road, west
on Blueford Road and continuing beyond the dead end of Blueford Road,
due west to the B & O Railroad tracks, south on the B & O Railroad
tracks to the Old Georgetown Branch of the railroad, then west on this
branch to Rock Creek.

Councilmanic District IV: Glenmont—Colesville

This District is bounded on the west by the Third Councilmanic Dis-
trict, on the north by the Second Councilmanic District, on the east by the
Patuxent River and the Prince George's County Line, on the south by the
Beltway Route 495 from the B & 0 Railroad tracks to its intersection with
Sligo Creek, north on Sligo Creek to Dennis Avenue, east on Dennis
Avenue to University Boulevard, southeast on University Boulevard to
Colesville Road, northeast on Colesville Road to Northwest Branch, south-
east along the Northwest Branch to its intersection with the Beltway
Route 495, Beltway Route 495 east to the Montgomery County—Prince
George's County Line.

Councilmanic District V: Silver Spring—Takoma Park

This District is bounded on the north by the Third and Fourth Council-
manic Districts, on the west by the First Councilmanic District and on
the south and east by the district of Columbia and Prince George's County.
